We, therefore, come together to promote the efficiencies of the private sector by providing leasehold facilities that best serve the interests of government agencies, their employees and their communities.
GBOLA’s Regular Members (building owners) represent approximately 2,700,000 square feet of office and warehouse space leased to the State of Washington.
As President of GBOLA and a long time member, I value the amount of research dedicated to market analysis in comparing the cost savings of privately owned office space versus new construction state owned buildings.
This analysis we provide to the state legislature, as well as, GBOLA members. In addition, our members are able to meet the financial budgets of agencies or departments, whether state or local government entities, as well as provide building maintenance or repairs in a timely and cost effective way.
In addition, I value the great working relationship we have developed with Department of Enterprise Services (DES) and Office of Financial Management (OFM). Working together with both private and public sector to work collaboratively.
